1. If you were going to remake a movie, what would it be and who would you cast in the roles?
I don't really believe in remakes, they're never good.
2. If you could turn a book into a movie, what would it be and who would you cast in the roles?
This is a hard question to answer because I prefer book adaptations to feature fairly unknown actors so that you can really believe they are the characters rather than just being distracted by the fact you've seen them in a million other movies. But perhaps I would like to see Liam Cunningham play Samuel Vimes in an adaptation of any of the Watch books from the Discworld series. Not sure who'd play anyone else though.
3. If you were going to turn a video game into a movie, what would it be? Would it be animated or live-action?
Final Fantasy VIII. Everyone seems to hate it and I'll admit the gameplay wasn't the best and it wasn't as revolutionary as VII, but the characters and the plot were really good and out of all the non-PS2 FF games, it would be the one most suited to a movie adaptation. (The PS2 Final Fantasys don't count because of the fact their cut-scenes look so good already and they have a voice cast, there'd be no point making those into movies.) Live-action would be fun, to make it different.
4. You're going to turn a book into a TV series. What is it? Why would it make a good TV show?
Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell. Apparently there's going to be a movie in a couple of years, but it's such a huge book they're probably going to have to miss a lot out. A TV series can be longer so they could do it more justice.
5. Do you generally prefer the movie versions or the novel versions of works?
Depends what came first. Movie adaptations of books rarely are as deep as the original novel, and novelisations of films are usually really badly written.
I used my new Curly Wurly shampoo tonight and now my hair smells of Play Doh, haha. It's nice.
